该剧是根据宁津县已故作家郭澄清的著名长篇小说《大刀记》改编的。《大刀记》是我国唯一一部描绘鲁西北平原地区抗日战争的长篇小说，也是“文化大革命”时期出版并广泛流传至今的唯一一部抗日题材的文学作品，它体现的是“群众是真正的铜墙铁壁”。。Siblings Kristy and Jeffrey are buying supplies at a remote desert gas station when some members of a biker gang come cruising in. The bikers recognize Kristy, who used to be the main squeeze of the gang’s leader before she ran away.
