This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。茉莉（阿丽克西斯·布莱德尔 Alexis Bledel 饰）觉得自己的一生就从来没有顺利过，好像每时每刻都处在低谷里。一次偶然中，她邂逅了名为古斯（扎克瑞·莱维 Zachary Levi 饰）的珠宝店员工，英俊帅气的古斯一下子就吸引了茉莉的注意，而古斯似乎也对茉莉充满了兴趣，两人一见钟情，茉莉的春天真的就要来了吗？ 事情并没有茉莉想的那么简单，随着交往的深入，茉莉发现古斯常常处于一种心不在焉的状态之中，而且总是容易忘记和她相关的一些事情，难道古斯对茉莉只是逢场作戏，并没有放在心上吗？原来，古斯患有一种古怪的疾病，那就是他无法保留任何的短期记忆。。
