The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。韩杰（张铎饰）和钟子健（凌潇肃饰）作为同父异母的兄弟，命运却截然不同。父亲遭到不法商人白伟德的陷害而离世，这一事件给他们的生活带来了巨大的影响。钟子健，刚刚步入社会，便陷入了低谷。然而，在周而复的推荐下，他进入了文化局，成为稽查大队的一员，展开了新的生活。与此同时，他对哥哥韩杰因与白伟德合作而不满，导致了兄弟之间的疏远。 然而，钟子健并不知道的是，韩杰实际上是国家派出的一名特别调查员，他的任务是潜入白伟德公司内部，获取他从事盗版活动的证据。在这个过程中，韩杰结识了曹桦，两人在共同的进退中产生了感情。曹桦的勇敢和执着吸引着韩杰，而曹桦也深深地爱上了他。经过种种曲折，韩杰和钟子健联手，最终将白伟德送上了法庭，。
