剧集讲述了处心积虑的腹黑王爷崔行舟和聪明狡黠的女寨主柳眠棠“猫鼠斗爱”的故事。 淮阳王崔行舟年少有为，一直以剿灭仰山山匪为己任；柳眠棠为仰山女寨主，带领仰山众人惩恶扬善。某日，崔行舟救下因重伤失忆的柳眠棠，他误以为她是死对头仰山头领陆文的宠妾，她错认他为“夫君”崔九。于是崔行舟将计就计，编故事扮夫妻探消息，想要诱敌现身，未想到重重布局未达目的，倒是在与柳眠棠的接触中交付了自己的真心；柳眠棠虽然失忆，但聪明狡黠不减从前，一边开创瓷器品牌操持“家业”，生意做得红火，一边对崔行舟的种种“演王”行为心生疑惑。二人连连过招，一番误打误撞，反而开启了一场“猫鼠斗爱”的欢乐爱情故事。当身份骗局被戳破，两人的感情再一次面临考验，历经磨难的二人选择坦诚相待、携手并进。在时局艰难之际，夫妻俩帮助皇孙子瑜清除叛党、稳定朝局……。Klara the Calf is excited to spend her first Christmas on Cattle Hill with her Father, but when they arrive at the farm Klara is disappointed to see he has not attempted to decorate for the holidays.
