这部电影讲述了新化农村留守儿童马东在进城寻父和学演傩戏的过程中锻炼成长的故事。马东住在湘中山区，父亲去了省城打工，母亲的猝然去世让他生活失去了支柱。单身的傩戏演员老钟叔以拜师为条件监护马东，马东却一直和老钟叔闹别扭。马东去省城找父亲，寻父路上，马东和老钟叔历经艰苦，碰见各式各样的人与事，而父亲马福贵却闭门不见。原来，他早已和马东的母亲离婚。父亲找不到了。马东一招一式地习练着傩戏，他要自己长大……。罗伯特在一次意外少女自杀的过程中重新燃起了自己作家的梦想从而放弃了保险推销员的工作,却不料被实施抢劫的罗杰利用每次在作案之前,他都要罗伯特写一段小说,作案时他就会 “依章办事”,而且屡次成功,然最终罗伯特的命运如何呢?。Ësáasi Eweera, one of the last kings of the Bubi people of the island of Bioko, Equatorial Guinea, and a thorn in the side of the Spanish colonial powers, died in 1904 in mysterious circumstances.
