该剧讲述了高凤山三个儿女金虎、金豹、金凤与铃铛以及三奶奶之间恩怨情仇。金豹为兄长金虎迎娶铃铛，不想路上铃铛被三奶奶手下人抓走，金豹为救嫂子，也被三奶奶关起来。接新娘小毛驴带着三奶奶信物跑回高家，金虎得知铃铛被掳走，怒气冲天……。Morse finds himself the subject of a murder investigation when his friend, Beryl Newsome, is murdered at a rehearsal of the Magic Flute and he foolishly touches the murder weapon. Morse is suspended and DCI Bottomley, with DS Lewis assisting him, is put in charge of the case.
