电影《乾坤镯》讲述了发生在世外桃源福禄村的一起江湖纷争：与村长女儿小翠相恋的小木匠在村里挖出了一具遗骸，得到了乾坤镯。村长为了振兴村子，借此编造了发现哪吒墓和乾坤圈的谎言，想借此吸引游客。他并不知道，这个镯子其实是武林传说中记载着上乘武功秘籍的至宝，镯子也意外引来了一众江湖高手、东厂密探、和盗墓贼。伴随爆笑不断的神剧情和跌宕起伏的神逆转，最终福禄村的危机纷争能否顺利化解？镯子的背后又隐藏着一个怎样的秘密？。李尔王（伊恩·麦克莱恩 Ian McKellen 饰）年事已高，他决定将广袤的国土分给自己的三个女儿科迪莉亚（萝玛拉·嘉瑞 Romola Garai 饰）、格纳利尔（弗兰西斯·巴贝 Frances Barber 饰）和里根（莫妮卡·杜兰 Monica Dolan 饰）。李尔王让三个女儿说出各自心中对父王的爱戴，格纳利尔和里根极尽花言巧语之所能，得到了李尔王的赞赏，小女儿科迪莉亚质朴而诚实，反而遭到了无情的驱逐。 失去了家园的科迪莉亚成为了法国的王后，而得到了父亲大片疆土的大女儿和二女儿则将李尔王赶出了家门。直到流落荒野无处可去，李尔王才明白自己犯了天大的错误，他一边责怪自己的愚昧，一边心痛科迪莉亚的遭遇。得知了李尔王的境遇，科迪莉亚组织了军队准备向老家进攻，不幸的是，军队遭遇惨败，科迪莉亚也遭到了逮捕。最终，科迪莉亚被处死，年迈的李尔王在痛苦中亦追随...。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
