Stuff fills the void of the existence we weren't meant to lead.。本片改编自曾获得读卖文学奖戏曲·剧本奖的松田正隆所著舞台剧，以不下雨的长崎夏天为舞台，讲述了主人公·小浦治（小田切让饰）因儿子去世的丧失感而停止了人生时间的故事。被妻子惠子（松隆子饰）抛弃的他，和妹妹阿佐子（满岛光饰）留下的17岁侄女优子（高石明里饰）开始共同生活，故事由此展开。治在惠子去接儿子牌位的时候隐约注意到了他工作过的造船厂同事阵野（森山直太朗饰）和持田（光石研饰），优子在打工的地方结识了前辈立山（高桥文哉饰）。失去爱的男人，放弃爱的女人，以及不懂爱的少女。每个人在面对各自苦楚的同时，在如夏日沙石般干涸的心中，发现了小小的希望之芽。。Niraon marries to save her home, but her husband is shot.
